Designing a website for an Australian events management company’s new branding to match their lively events, festivals, pop-ups, and farmers’ markets.
Since 2006, Goodwill Projects has been setting up and managing various events and festivals in Australia. They promote and boost small businesses and turn them into household brands through popular and vibrant markets and festivals. After recently establishing new branding, they also wanted to revamp their old website to be more current, bold, and fun.
A hive of activity
Before reaching out to us for a website, Goodwill received a new and punchy branding to help them facilitate and promote a lot of zesty and captivating events. Seeing that, we wanted to make the website feel exciting and new while showcasing the markets, festivals, and events in a refreshing way that is visually distinct.
Painting the town
We expanded on their new brand by giving a matching energetic and engaging website that adds that extra oomph to attract new audiences and visitors. Taking inspiration from vintage posters, we built upon Goodwill’s new logo, pattern, and color palette. This involved combining their branding with stark lines, boxy designs, black-and-white elements, and large images.
Spicing things up
With the visual language set, we carefully created a design that achieved a crisp and clean layout that balanced with their vibrant and lively brand. Through a purposeful layout, their delightful pattern, fun fonts, and lively images unite into a striking website that encapsulated the essence of the company and gave a glimpse of how their events can be.
Life of the party
As the eventgoers can come from all walks of life, we made sure that our cheerful designs convey the same spirit on mobile, tablet, and other devices and resolutions. In choosing the different visual elements, we created a design that evoked good times that can be had if a visitor goes to the festivals and markets that the website was promoting.
