Asian Coatings

Asian Coatings’ roots are found in the 1970s when they were known as Wel-Best Manufacturing, an automotive coatings and resins manufacturer. They are best known for their flagship Rain or Shine Elastomeric paint brand.

After partnering with German and Japanese companies, they expanded from automotive paint to house paint. Throughout the years, it steadily grew and eventually changed its name to Asian Coatings Phils., Inc. As they launch and improve their products and high-value solutions, they continued to disrupt the Philippine construction industry. With better products, they needed better marketing to take their position at the forefront of their industry.

Asian Coatings’ goal is to become the top paint manufacturer in the Philippines. They are a company that values quality, variety, and innovation in the paints and solutions they make. As part of this, they wanted a web application that displays its paint colors and swatches for their website. Understanding this, we wanted to give them a smart, bold, and clean website that highlights their brand for who they are.

Taking cues from the Rain or Shine brand, we made use of the red, blue, and yellow uses to create a layout that is easy to navigate especially for its target customers in the construction industry. A strong and clear typeface and lively colors with fullscreen sections also brought out the best of their solutions.
